Back-up power
We can provide a range of back-up power solutions to maintain lighting and other essential systems/appliances in the event of a mains power failure. These include portable/fixed generators, battery backup and renewable energy sources such as solar/wind power.
Emergency escape lighting
Emergency lighting ensures that escape routes are illuminated and clearly identified in the event of fire. It must be designed to switch on automatically and remain on for sufficient time to allow safe evacuation. As well as designing and installing emergency escape lighting systems, we can also undertake monthly and annual system testing in full compliance with UK fire regulations.
Exit signage
Escape routes must also be clearly marked with illuminated fire exit signs and these must be designed to remain continuously illuminated even in the event of a mains power failure. We can supply solutions based on external or internal lamps, or self-illuminating signs requiring no external power source.
Smoke extraction systems
Our expertise in ventilation systems extends to smoke ventilation and we can design and install standalone and integrated smoke ventilation systems in full compliance with fire safety standards and building regulations.
