Northgate Arena - Cheshire West and Chester Council
Project cost: £1.1 million
AP Mitchell was appointed by Equans on behalf of Cheshire West and Chester Council to undertake major mechanical engineering works as part of the leisure centre refurbishment works. Importantly, our work had to be completed without necessitating the closure of the centre. AP Mitchell was responsible for replacing the existing boiler plant, hot water plant, Air Handling Units serving the pools and gym, a full changing room ventilation system, and a new trend BMS system throughout. We also provided the installation of an Air Source Heat Pump system to heat the main pool and a full domestic water booster set and tanks.
