Project cost: £115,000
AP Mitchell were thrilled to be selected by Equans (then Engie) on behalf of Cheshire West and Chester Council to undertake a full boiler room rebuild in one of the most iconic public buildings within Cheshire - Chester Town Hall. First opened in 1869, working within this beautiful hall posed unique challenges as we undertook this engineering project.
As part of our works we supplied and installed new replacement boilers, buffer vessels, circulation pumps and system dosing within the boiler room. Elsewhere in the building we were responsible for the installation of new hot water distribution pipework, complete with thermal insulation.
