AP Mitchell were appointed by Equans to carry out boiler replacement works at Cheyne Hall Day Centre. These works are currently ongoing and are set to finish during the summer 2023. The aim of these works is for the Day Centre to become greener and reduce carbon emissions, as well as future proof, through the installation of a new ASHP. This will replace the outdated boiler currently at the Day Centre to service the heating requirements for this amazing facility in a more efficient and environmentally conscious way.
The latest Boiler controls will be installed to give the most modern and green mechanical installation possible.
A new external purpose-built compound has been constructed to house the ASHP. This compound will also help reduce noise pollution and overtime blend into the surroundings
Furthermore, new insulated pipework and efficient heat emitters are being installed to help bring this important local facility up to date.
